How to Play UK Lotto
To take part, players simply choose six numbers from 1 to 59. A Bonus Ball is also drawn from the remaining 53 numbers after the six main balls have been selected. Prizes are awarded to players who match at least two main numbers.
All the prizes are fixed apart from the jackpot, which starts at a minimum of £2 million (approximately ₹182 million) on a Wednesday or £3.8 million (approximately ₹346 million) on a Saturday.
The jackpot can keep growing if there are no winners, but there is a limit of five consecutive rollovers. If no ticket matches all six main numbers after this point, the jackpot will be split between players in the Match 3, Match 4, Match 5 and Match 5 + Bonus categories.
